Well, today was rather uneventful...drew a little something, watched Sweeney Todd's special features, ran around my kitchen practicing the Mrs. Lovett routine, and tripped over my own legs TWICE while walking to my room (I'm very clumsy...) I've recently adopted a British accent to my speaking, too... Must come from adding all the 'love's and 'dear's and 'darling's to the end of my sentences... I feel like...I dunno...ERIS. Or MADONNA. *shot*
BARELY got anything IMPORTANT done, because today I had to take the final exam for my Life Management Skills class. AND ON MY SPRING BREAK, TOO.
Which almost reminds me...on the 8th of this month, it'll be exactly ONE HALF of a year since I joined Deviantart. I've been here so long already...longest I've ever stayed anywhere, really... But...thanks for everyone who's been there for me. This site makes me happy. I've had my ups, my downs, fears, joy...I remember my first gift, my first argument, my first spammer...and I love those memories. My old art compared to my new art. I have a feeling I've grown art-wise...not much in personality, though...maybe in some eyes I've grown, but hopefully in a good way!
For some odd reason, I'm back to my Enchanted-mania. I can't help loving that movie, for more reasons than one. It was my first date, the first live-action Disney princess movie that I LOVE, and definitely my new favorite Disney character overall...Amy Adams was so loverly. Can't wait to go to Disney World when she's a meet-able character (I heard you couldn't talk to her yet, now she's just for show at parades and carriage rides and such...) *ish jealous of *bri-chan who got to meet her at the Enchanted premiere*
And why is it that every dress I see on screen from a movie like Sweeney or Enchanted, I immediately want for my own? It'd be complicated, but...I'd love it to be my wedding gown. In that beautifully dark room, with candles and black and purple flowers, orchids from the roofs...torn wallpaper, red carpet...empty pews or full...does it matter? And instead of a podium, a table, and on it, a carved smile on a fresh orange pumpkin, held by a plushie I love so very much.
